Basics of Kiwi Pruning:

Begin pruning your kiwi plant right after planting. It’s crucial to leave only one main shoot, which should be trimmed back to encourage branching, laying the foundation for healthy growth. In the first year, attach the strongest side shoots horizontally to support wires, trimming them only once they reach the ends of their support. This technique helps the plant establish a strong structure.
