All the cozy flavors of classic cabbage rolls — with none of the rolling! This one-pan dish is hearty, flavorful, and quick to make.
✅ Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 yellow onion, chopped
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 1 small head of cabbage, cored and chopped
- 1 (14 oz) can diced tomatoes
- 2 tsp Creole seasoning (like Tony Chachere’s)
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

👩🍳 Directions:
- Brown the Meat & Veggies
In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef.
Add chopped onion and bell pepper; cook until softened. - Add Cabbage & Seasoning
Stir in the chopped cabbage. Cook for 5–7 minutes, stirring often, until it begins to soften.
Add diced tomatoes, Creole seasoning, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and black pepper. Stir well. - Simmer
Cover the skillet, reduce the heat to low, and let simmer for 10–15 minutes, until the cabbage is tender and the flavors meld together. - Add Cheese & Serve
Sprinkle shredded cheddar over the top. Cover again for a few minutes until the cheese melts.
Serve hot on its own or over rice for a heartier meal.
