100% Success: Easy Way to Grow Zamioculcas from a Leaf

Steps to Propagate Zamioculcas:

Materials:

Neutral peat moss (pH 5.5–6.5)
Containers for substrate and water
Wick for watering
Sharp knife or scissors
1 liter of water
1 gram of monopotassium phosphate
5 ml of biohumus

Preparation:

Use neutral peat moss as the substrate.
Set up wick watering: one container with substrate, another with water connected by a wick.

Watering Solution:

Mix 1 liter of water with 1 gram of monopotassium phosphate and 5 ml of biohumus.
Selecting and Cutting Leaves:

Choose healthy, undamaged leaves. Cut them at an angle with a sharp knife or scissors.

Planting:

Insert the leaves into the substrate about 1/3 deep.
Place the container in a bright, indirect light location.
Root Development:

Roots appear in 2-3 weeks. When they reach 2-3 cm, transplant the leaves into separate containers.

Transplanting:

Use flat, wide containers with the same substrate. Replace the substrate to prevent root rot. Water and place in a bright location.
